Hearing on MTA response to concerns at the Fontana Apartments (Van Ness at Northpoint) including: (1) location of the bus stop in front on the Fontana driveway, (2) queuing of buses on the west side of Van Ness creating a hazard for pedestrians and drivers, (3) striping of the parking places on Van Ness, (4) use of temporary police barriers to reserve a parking place for a MUNI supervisor, (5) idling of buses on the west side of Van Ness, and (6) the state of the road on Van Ness as a result of heavy use by buses. Hearing will ask MTA to provide report on what has been done to address these concerns and, if the concerns have not been addressed, explain why the concerns have not been addressed. Hearing will focus on how the MTA plans to address remaining concerns moving forward.
