Resolution urging the San Francisco Police Department, Municipal Transportation Agency, Recreation and Parks Department, and other relevant City agencies to increase enforcement of existing laws governing electric bicycles, electric scooters, and other powered mobility devices; to prioritize enforcement against reckless operation, illegal sidewalk riding, excessive speeds, unlawful modifications, and vehicles improperly represented as electric bicycles; to encourage collaboration with shared-mobility operators on rider safety; and to improve education and data collection regarding e-bike and e-scooter safety.
