Hearing to discuss the Budget Committee's instructions to the Board's Budget Analyst regarding its upcoming June budget review.
The hearing will address (1) Supervisor Peskin's request for more detailed examination and recommendations regarding positions, whether vacant or filled; (2) Budgetary proposals raised by the Budget Committee that have fiscal implications in next year's budget; (3) A possible threshold under which the most minor departments would not be reviewed in detail by the Budget Analyst's Office in order to prioritize analysis of larger departments; and (4) Any other specific directions for budget review.
