Ordinance amending the Planning and Building Codes to change the name of the Department of Building Inspection’s Expanded Compliance Control program to the Compliance Oversight program, integrate Planning Code violations into the Compliance Oversight program by tracking significant Planning Code violations in the Compliance Oversight Tracking File, designating specific Planning Code violations as candidates for Compliance Oversight, authorizing the Zoning Administrator to determine and designate parties responsible for specified significant violations as candidates for Compliance Oversight, and extending the Compliance Oversight Tracking File review period from 18 to 48 months; amending the Planning Code to set the minimum penalty for violations involving misrepresentation of specified tenant information to $30,000; affirming the Planning Department’s determination under the California Environmental Quality Act; making findings of consistency with the General Plan, and the eight priority policies of Planning Code, Section 101.1; and making findings of public necessity, convenience, and welfare pursuant to Planning Code, Section 302.
