Resolution affirming San Francisco’s commitment to 30 percent female representation in the public realm by the year 2020; urging the Arts Commission, in coordination with the Library, to install a statue of Dr. Maya Angelou at the Main Library; urging the Controller to establish a fund for erecting and maintaining statues of historically significant women; and urging the Board of Supervisors to consider a motion to require including the annual Gender Analysis Of Commission and Boards report produced by the Department on the Status of Women be part of the committee packet considered in Rules Committee appointment hearings.
