Title: Resolution urging the Planning Department, the Department of Human Services, the Department of Public Health, and other City departments to develop a map showing the concentration of existing social services in city neighborhoods; to catalog City-owned property that may be appropriate for future siting of such services; to catalog the distribution of client populations citywide; to study the feasibility of starting a long range planning process for the siting of social services that includes extensive neighborhood input, meets the needs of city residents and provides more equitable distribution of services among neighborhoods; and to recommend to the Board of Supervisors by March 1, 2000 measures to implement such a social services planning process.
