• Title: Resolution urging the Mayor to include within the Mayor's legislative policy support for Senate Bill 23 (Perata) banning assault weapons, Senate Bill 15 (Polanco) banning unsafe handguns and Assembly Bill 106 (Scott) the Aroner-Scott Child Gun Accident Prevention Act of 1999; and urging the Mayor to urge the State Legislature to enact stricter gun control laws, including but not limited to SB 23, SB 15, AB 106 and a limitation on gun purchases to one per person per month; and requesting that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his Honor, the Mayor, with a request that he transmit copies to the members of the State Legislature from San Francisco with a request that they take all action necessary to achieve the objectives of this resolution.
