Hearing on the safety procedures of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency in light of the serious accident that occurred at the West Portal Station on Saturday, July 18, 2009. MUNI will be asked to detail its safety strategies and procedures that are currently in place to prevent such crashes from occurring again, and what safety assessments and enhancement procedures MUNI is considering to ensure the future safety of MUNI riders and pedestrians in the City and County of San Francisco.
