Motion establishing the West Geary Boulevard Working Group to review and analyze proposals for changes in land use and transportation along the Geary corridor west of Van Ness Avenue, including, but not limited to the Municipal Railway's "Visions for Rapid Transit in San Francisco," former Supervisor Leno's proposal for "Trans-Oriented Neighborhood Commercial Districts and Transit Intensive Special Use Districts," and to develop a consensus document exploring the advisability of increases in density along the Geary corridor west of Van Ness with corresponding improvements in transit service and other related neighborhood improvements, and recommending steps to realize such improvements.
