Resolution supporting the creation of the San Francisco Filipino Veterans Equity Center, a community-based organization specifically tasked with coordinating efforts of various agencies and volunteer support groups to provide culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate services to Filipino World War II veterans and their families in San Francisco, and urging the Mayor to allocate $150,000 in Fiscal 1999-2000 for the creation of the Filipino Veterans Equity Center.
