Ordinance amending Elections Code Sections 830 and 840 to reduce the fee for publication of ballot arguments in the voter information pamphlet from $200 plus $3 per word to $200 plus $2 per word and increase the value of signatures submitted in lieu of fees from $.25 per signature to $.50 per signature; effective January 1, 1999.
