Hearing to consider the Central "Omega Sprinklers" in approximately nine thousand San Francisco properties and what the City and County of San Francisco will do to protect the public safety of its visitors and residents. In the light of the discovery of the defective parts in the "Omega Sprinkers", current recall efforts have not been entirely successful. The public's safety is not well served to have non-functioning sprinkers in San Francisco buildings.
