Hearing on the past and present practices of the issuance of press passes by the San Francisco Chief of Police, and any changes to said policy that delineates journalists as "actual and bona fide," and changes to said policy that accounts for journalists who are and are not working on "breaking news," and changes or recommendations for regulating press pass issuance to the burgeoning and/or steady industry of electronic journalists, community (neighborhood newspaper) journalists, and freelancers, that comprise any combination of the aforementioned classifications.
