Hearing to seek information regarding St. Luke's Hospital and the California Pacific Medical Center's plans regarding same and the impact of those plans on San Francisco's health care infrastructure. The hearing will also explore in detail the future of St. Luke's and any plans to eliminate or reorganize services either prior to or upon the completion of the proposed Cathedral Hill location. In addition, the hearing will examine how potential changes to the services provided at St. Luke's will impact the residents of south of Market Street and whether there are any plans to ensure that St. Luke's is in compliance with the California Seismic Safety Act.
