Title: Motion scheduling a Committee of the Whole on October 15, 2002, at 3:00 PM to consider legislation amending Resolution No. 910-01, commending the efforts of the San Francisco Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC) in achieving the status of finalist in the competition to select a U. S. Candidate City for the 2012 Olympic Games, removing the qualification that the City's obligations under the agreement are contingent upon BASOC not being in default of any of its obligations under the agreement, approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute agreements consistent with the terms and conditions in the Host City Agreement issued for the 2008 Olympic Games, and approving the First Amendment to the BASOC Agreement giving the City the right to require BASOC to fund any bid deposit.
