Hearing to consider the status of residential care facilities, formerly known as Board and Care, in addressing the care of clients with behavioral and other health needs. This hearing will consider the recommendations and concerns from the recent Family Service Agency conference on residential care that discussed the 40% reduction in available capacity, from 1100 beds to 660 beds, over the last 20 years in San Francisco.
