Ordinance authorizing the Department of Emergency Management (DEM), as fiscal agent for multiple local jurisdictions, to retroactively accept and expend a Public Safety Interoperable Communications grant in the amount of $14,941,976.82 from the United States Department of Commerce and to provide $451,122 as San Francisco’s portion of required matching funds; and amending Ordinance No. 141-08 (Annual Salary Ordinance, FY 2008-2009) to reflect the addition of two grant-funded positions (.58 FTE - 0941 Manager VI and .58 FTE - 0931 Manager III) in the Department of Emergency Management.
