Hearing to consider (1) whether or not the City effectively handled the blackouts it experienced earlier this year; (2) what lessons did the City learn from those blackouts; (3) what is the Department of Parking and Traffic doing to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow if and when traffic lights go out this summer; (4) what is the Department of the Environment doing to encourage conservation now before these blackouts occur; and, (5) what can the Board do now to ensure that there will be no breakdown in the most important of City services.
