Hearing to assess San Francisco's cultural preservation efforts, including the implementation of Senate Bill 307 which identified San Francico's Japantown as one of the three remaining Japantowns in the United States, and the creation of Social Heritage Special Use Districts, that preserves both the Filipino and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender historic districts, including a review of certain African American sites for cultural preservation and social heritage landmark status, and tools the City has available, such as through the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, detailing what support to provide for important social heritage assets, if any.
