Hearing on the possibility of co-locating supportive housing in conjunction with the seismic replacement of the Animal Care and Control facility for individuals with pets or companion animals who are reluctant to enter shelter when their service animals are not allowed or are kept on separate floors; and discussion on whether supportive housing/shelter or a hybrid could be developed that enables individuals with companion animals and pets to exit homelessness.
