Resolution retroactively authorizing the Sheriff’s Department to contract with Global Tel*Link to provide Inmate Telephone Services, which will memorialize inmate phone call rates that reduce the cost of the average local call by 34%, and will result in an anticipated revenue to the Inmate Welfare Fund of more than $1,000,000 over the three-year contract term of December 1, 2016, through November 30, 2019, and authorizing the Sheriff to exercise the agreement’s two one-year options to extend the term for a total term not to exceed five years.
