Hearing on the juvenile justice system and strategies, including Juvenile Hall and the closure of Log Cabin Ranch, as well as community-based alternatives to detention; to review the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families study of alternatives to youth detention, as well as the Multi-Agency Local Action Plan published in March of 2017, and approved by the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council; and requesting the Juvenile Probation Department and the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families to report.
