Resolution urging the FDA, EPA, and USDA to research, regulate, clearly label, and consider a temporary moratorium on all genetically engineered foods until proven safe for human health and the environment; urging liability be assigned to commercial developers of genetically engineered food; urging major food companies which have removed genetically engineered ingredients from their food products in Europe to stop using genetically engineered ingredients in their products in the United States; urging that additional information be provided to consumers regarding the use of genetically engineered ingredients in food products; and asking that copies of this resolution be sent to relevant parties.
