Hearing to receive a report by the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department on the state of City run and community programs targeted at delinquent girls including a report on the status of implementation of the Life Learning Residential Center for Girls, and any additional City or community run programs that are currently operational or being considered; the hearing will also look at the difficulties encountered by both community groups and by the City in creating and implementing effective programs to address the issue of teenage girls as the fastest growing population of criminal offenders.
