Resolution requesting the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) to include in its work plan a method providing for 24-hour BART service between the Northern Peninsula, San Francisco and the East Bay to meet the current and projected needs of specific demographic groups; and requesting MTC to consider rail and bus as alternative modes of transportation; requesting MTC staff to work with all appropriate local and regional transportation agencies to produce a workable plan to be presented in draft form to the MTC Board not later than six months from the date of this resolution.
