Motion requesting the Legislative Analyst to examine the regulatory process for approval of the proposed Cruise Ship Terminal at Piers 30 and 32, provide analysis of state legislation that has been approved and may be proposed regarding this site, describe efforts in other communities to plan for cruise terminals and to provide guidance to City staff in advance of regulatory approvals at the Board of Supervisors. Please provide an initial report no later than February 13, 2003 and continue working until legislation is adopted.
