Resolution authorizing the Office of Emergency Services to accept and expend a Federal pass through grant in the amount of $26,325,036 from the State of California Office of Homeland Security for the purposes of providing financial assistance directly to selected jurisdictions through the Fiscal Year 2004 Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) to address the unique equipment, training, planning, and exercise needs of large urban areas, and to assist them in building an enhanced and sustainable capacity to prevent, respond to, and recover from threats or acts of terrorism.
