Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of the Planning Department dated August 13, 2004, Case No. 2003.0657E, approving the proposed project to include: a renovation and vertical addition to the existing one-story-plus-mezzanine American Buddhist Cultural Society building; an expanded second level and construction of third and fourth levels for a total of four stories and a total height of approximately 70 feet; and add approximately 16,798 gross square feet (gsf) to the existing building for a total square footage of 27,758 gsf, located at 1730-1750 Van Ness Avenue, Assessor’s Block 0622, Lot 019.
