Title: Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of the Planning Department dated April 22, 2005 (Case No. 2003.0960E), exempting from environmental review under State CEQA Guidelines, Sections 15301(a), 15301(e)(2), and 4(b), Class Numbers 1(a), 1(e)(2), and 4(b), the proposed project at 1740 20th Street. The proposal includes a vertical L-shaped addition, and a horizontal addition to a single-family residence. The new addition would add 1,346-gross-square-feet to an existing 2,202-gsf, approximately 12-foot tall single-family residence. There is currently one off-street parking space on the project site. The proposed project would add one additional off-street parking space. The addition would be 23-feet tall at its highest point. The 5,000-square-foot project site is located at 1740 20th Street, northeast corner of 20th and Wisconsin Streets on Assessor’s Block 4069, Lot 018. The project site is within an RH-2 (Residential, House, Two-Family) zoning district and a 40-X height and bulk district. (Appellant: Vincent Marsh on behalf of Bob Siska, property owner.)
