• Title: Ordinance amending the Building Code by amending Section 103.2.2; amending Chapter 13 to change the title of the Chapter from "Energy Conservation" to "Resource Conservation" and adding Chapter 13B entitled "Construction and Demolition Debris Recovery Program;" amending the Health Code by adding Sections 288 and 288.1; and amending the Environment Code by adding Chapter 14, entitled Construction and Demolition Debris Recovery Ordinance, to establish a comprehensive program to require the recovery rather than landfill disposal of construction and demolition debris generated in San Francisco by prohibiting disposal of such debris with garbage; imposing requirements and conditions in building permits; establishing a program to register construction and demolition debris transporters and processing facilities; and establishing enforcement mechanisms including penalties; amending the Police Code Section 39-1 to implement the new program; setting an operative date; and making environmental findings.
