Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of the Planning Department granting a Categorical Exemption from environmental review as part of a variance application (Case No. 2005.0032DV, Building Permit Application No. 2004.02.10.6005S), the proposed project at 1043-1045 Francisco Street, Lot 020 in Assessor’s Block 0477. The proposal is to add a one-story horizontal addition over the existing one-story extension at the rear of the existing building. The site contains a two-story (with one-story section at the rear where the addition is proposed) over basement, two-family building at the front of the lot and a one-story, two-car garage at the rear of the lot. The project originally proposed to expand the garage, but that part of the project has been eliminated.
The lot size is 4,726 square feet, within RH-2 (Residential House, Two-Family) District and 40X Height and Bulk District. (Appellant: Stephen M. Williams).
