Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of the Planning Department dated February 6, 2006 (Case No. 2005.0402E), exempting from environmental review under Categorical Exemption [State CEQA Guidelines, Sections 15301 and 15331], the proposed project at 2477-2479 Sutter Street. The proposal would convert an existing two-unit residential structure with ground-floor retail into a three-unit structure with three parking spaces by adding a 2,590-square foot horizontal and vertical addition and converting the retail space into a garage.
The project site is located at 2477-2479 Sutter Street (Assessor's Block 1076, Lot 022), The project is within the RM-1 (Mixed, Low Density) zoning district and within a 40-X height and bulk district. (Appellant: Stephen M. Williams.)
