Hearing on the Arts Education Master Plan, (AEMP), of the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). The hearing will consider the implementation, goals and progress for this blueprint for integrating the arts into the daily curriculum of every student, funded in large part through Prop H by the City and County of San Francisco. Areas of discussion will include the ways in which the School District and the City are partnering to achieve the goals of the AEMP. There will also be an update on the School of the Arts, (SOTA), and its planned move to 135 Van Ness Avenue, including the project history and funding status.
