Hearing on the status of a possible Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or other agreement between the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) regarding reciprocal use of school yards, playgrounds, and buildings, by community groups outside of school hours -- as well as access to and use of City Facilities by SFUSD for student activities. The hearing will discuss the process and fees associated with reserving school space by members of the community and city facilities by schools. The hearing will also discuss how other cities work with their respective school districts to ensure that the broader community can have access to school property for community purposes and vice versa.
