Resolution supporting the private security officers and their union SEIU 24-7’s week of action to win improved training for personal advancement, a living wage and full family health benefits on par with janitors and other workers in San Francisco’s commercial real estate sector; and encouraging the City’s wealthiest property owners and the security company contractors such as ABM and Securitas to to end the double standard facing security officers who struggle to make ends meet based on the low wages and often unaffordable healthcare premiums.
