Ordinance amending the 2007 San Francisco Building Code by adding a new Chapter ______ to require commercial buildings to install more efficient fluorescent lighting or other lighting efficiency measures by 2009, to make findings in accordance with California Health and Safety Code Section 17958.7 7 as to the local climatic, topological and geological reasons for amending the State Building Code; amending Section 705 of the Environment Code to require City–owned facilities to comply with the same lighting efficiency measures; and to make environmental findings.
