Title: Resolution authorizing the Sheriff’s Department to execute contracts with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and accept and expend funds associated with the contracts. The purpose of the contract is to establish a pilot San Francisco County Secure Reentry Program Facility (SRPF) that will provide up to 12 months of intensive, in-custody evidence based reentry programming which will address the offender’s underlying employment, mental health and substance abuse issues. This will be followed by 12 months of accountability based out-of-custody reentry programming.
