Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of the Planning Department dated September 2, 2008, (Case No. 2008.1009E) (Building Permit Application No. 2008/01/28/3333) is exempt from environmental review under Categorical Exemption, [State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301 Class 1]. The project involves the removal of a rear deck and stairs from the property at 1980-1998 Golden Gate Avenue that currently encroaches on the side yard of the property at 800-808 Lyon Street and includes the installation of a new fire escape at the front facade of 1980-1998 Golden Gate Avenue. (Appellants: Raquel Fox of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic, Inc. on behalf of the tenants at 800-808 Lyon Street, 1998 Golden Gate Avenue and 1960 Golden Gate Avenue.)
