Resolution urging the Taxi Commission to consider ruling that implementation of lease caps placed by the Board of Supervisors on the amount that taxi companies may pay to permit holders for use of their taxi medallion will not be interpreted to restrict the amount that single permit holders operating as a company may collect from drivers in gate fees; informing the Commission of its duty to report to the Board of Supervisors on the impact of both the lease cap and gate cap legislation pursuant to Ordinances 362-98 and 364-98 of the Police Code; that copies of this resolution and copies of the aforementioned ordinances be sent to the Taxi Commission and its President.
