Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of the Planning Commission by its Motion No. 17892, adopted May 28, 2009, Case No. 2005.0979E, approving a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the proposed development project located at 1390 Market Street (Assessor’s Block No. 0813, Lot No. 006). The proposal would demolish an existing two-story retail and office building and construct a new 120-foot-tall, 11-story building containing up to 250 dwelling units and approximately 19,880 gross square feet of ground-floor retail use. There would be no change to an existing mixed-use tower on the site, and no new parking would be provided (18 existing spaces would be removed); parking for the new residential units would be within an existing two-level basement.
