Resolution supporting California State Assembly Bill No. 897, introduced on February 17, 2021, by Assembly Member Kevin Mullin (AD-22), which would authorize eligible entities to establish and participate in a regional climate network, require the regional climate network to develop a regional climate adaptation plan, and authorize the regional climate network to engage in activities to address climate change, including recommending options for distributing state funds for the creation and implementation of regional climate adaptation action plans.
