Hearing to receive an economic impact study of nightlife and entertainment in San Francisco; requesting that the Controller, with support from the Entertainment Commission, perform an economic impact study of nightlife and entertainment in San Francisco, including for example, the number of jobs generated by the sector, the amount of taxes paid, the number of visitors drawn to San Francisco as a result of the sector, and to assess its results and to discuss potential legislation to support this sector and to ensure that it remains a contributor to San Francisco's economic and cultural life.
