Mayor London N. Breed discussed last week’s Supreme Court ruling in the Grants Pass v. Mayor Breed stated that the ruling allows for current city mandated restrictions to be lifted and she is working with the City Attorney’s Office on how current polices around homeless encampments will change. Mayor Breed then discussed the City’s current homeless outreach plan that provides homeless shelters and services while being firm on the enforcement of regulations and penalties.
