The hearing will also examine what efforts are being made to support independent living for these victims of gun violence and what strategies are being utilized by the Department of Public Health to facilitate independent living and non-traditional convalescent care. The hearing will also seek information on the feasibility of an outpatient pilot program to treat these victims of gun violence.
