Resolution: 1) authorizing, pursuant to Charter Section 9.118(b)(i), a Funding Agreement with The
Nature Conservancy and Santa Clara County under which the City would contribute one third of the
funds, up to $900,000, for Santa Clara County to acquire the Nolan Ranch and create a conservation
easement of which the City would be a third-party beneficiary, and (ii) an Endowment Agreement
under which the City would provide a permanent endowment of $125,000 to fund The Nature
Conservancy’s monitoring of compliance with the conservation easement; and 2) authorizing the
General Manager of the Public Utilities Commission to execute documents, make certain
modifications, and take certain actions in furtherance of this Resolution.
