Ordinance authorizing the Municipal Transportation Agency to include, in any contract for parking
meter coin collections, counting, and support services it executes after issuing a competitive
solicitation, provisions that require the contractor and subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to meter
collector, coin room operator, crew lead, and foreperson positions, and to provide transitional
employment and retention to the prior contractor’s employees performing such services, subject to
compliance with all applicable state laws and regulations; and making findings as to the applicable
prevailing wage rates for the positions covered by this ordinance.
