Hearing on the status of citywide implementation of the City Navigation Centers for the Homeless
Ordinance (File No. 160278, Ordinance No. 117-16), passed unanimously by the Board of
Supervisors on June 21, 2016, and approved by the Mayor on July 1, 2016, to require the City to open
and operate no fewer than six Navigation Centers within 24 months of the effective date of the
Ordinance (July 31, 2016); and requesting the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing
to report.
