Ordinance appropriating $398,561 to overtime in the Fire Department, de-appropriating $5,750,492
from permanent salaries, mandatory fringe benefits, and capital projects, and appropriating
$5,750,492 to overtime and professional services in the Sheriff’s Department, and to overtime in the
San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, in order to support the Departments’ projected increases
in overtime as required per Administrative Code, Section 3.17; this Ordinance requires a two-thirds
vote of all members of the Board of Supervisors for the Sheriff’s Department appropriations approval,
pursuant to Charter, Section 9.113(c).
