Street as eligible for the installation and maintenance of commemorative plaques, pursuant to Public
Works Code Sections 789.2(a). In order to honor the musicians, artists, writers and other individuals
that have contributed to the musical, artistic, and cultural heritage of the Haight District and the
greater San Francisco Bay Area, identifying this area as the “Haight Street Walk of Fame.”
