Hearing to discuss the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) Fall 2020 data measuring
attendance and academic performance during the COVID-19 pandemic, what near-term academic
remediation opportunities will be provided to students who have fallen significantly behind, and to
gather input on the Students and Families RISE (Recovery with Inclusive and Successful Enrichment)
Workgroup which will use this data to create a citywide plan to expand enrichment and academic
success services for students and families in SFUSD; and requesting SFUSD, Department of
Children, Youth and their Families, SFUSD Board Members, and the United Educators of San
Francisco to report.
